The Pre-wedding ceremony

This wedding was bright colored events, filled with rituals and celebrations that continued on for several days. It was wonderful! The second night of the festivities the guests gathered at the Nirvana Restaurant. (I missed the food but heard it was amazing.)

Here is the bride's mother first going through the rituals.
Each of the bowls held something which each had meanings. I remember the sweet treat came last, but can't remember all the specifics.
Then rose petals are sprinkled on the bride and groom.

Then all the guests also went through.

And I really think the term Henna body "art" is appropriate. Through out the evening wedding guests could go over and get some painted on their bodies. It was very neat to see. It stays on the skin for 7-10 days.

Tomorrow watch for Ceremony photos.
